Christus Vivit – Christ is Alive

An invitation to the Deaneries of Bray, Dun Laoghaire, Wicklow and Donnybrook.

Fr Donal Roche, Episcopal Vicar for the Deaneries of Bray, Dun Laohaire, Wicklow and Donnybrook. has invited parishes to nominate parishioners to attend a special reflective reading of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation, Christus Vivit – addressed to Young People and the Entire People of God.

It will take place on Wednesday 4th December in Johnstown Parish Centre @7:30-9:30pm. It will be led by the Office for Evangelisation, and youth leaders from St Paul’s and the Foundational Leadership Programme.

Registration by email evangelisation@dublindiocese.ie with names of those attending. Cost €5 to cover the cost of the book which will be distributed on the night.

This evening is an ideal way for parishes to reflectivily begin to reach out to young people in 2020.

Christus Vivit is not just a document for young people. It is a document that can challenge all our parishes to reflect on how we can reach out to young people in faith and assist them to be part of our parishes.
